a. Note:   IDENTITY: Family letters, in the possession of Mary E.V. Hill.. William and Amanda were never able to have children although they have a daughter, Ada Erety, in the 1880 Census. She may have been an adopted daughter. The Erety line stopped in America this generation. He was the only male decendant of George Erety, Jr. and others of George's brothers seem to have died without surviving posterity.
