File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Guy Potts <gpotts1@@nc.rr.com> Cornelius Flowers (my note: notice the Yelvertons and Sauls in the same immediate list) The 1830 is Alphabetic order but the only Flowers in the alphabetized section containing William Dickinson, Susan Hamilton and Joshua Ellis is not Sally (or Sarah) but: Wayne Co. NC 1830 Census page 539 Flowers, Cornelius, age 30-40 with female 30-40 male 0-5 female 0-5 and 10-15 (may represent a "remarriage" for one of the parents?) So census records connect the same men from around 1900 to Sally (also Henry Flowers' mother, see his notes) who are by voter registration records linked to Cornelius Flowers, who is her same age but disappeared by 1840. See Polly Williamson notes and Tabitha Williamson (Jones) notes for deriving a maiden name for Sally, wife of Cornelius Flowers.
