Note: Jesse: B Yelverton (some hint he may have had four names Jesse W Beryl Yelverton or Jesse Beryl W Yelverton, much like his son in law John T Gaston Flowers who eventually predominantly only went by John Gaston Flowers and Jesse by Jesse Beryl Yelverton) was born in Greene County NC barely across the county line from Wayne County (as judged from their neighbors locations on the Confederate 1863 map that excluded them as they were in the process of moving as will be seen. His family lived in this Greene County location both 5 years before and 5 years after his birth. Both his parents were from extreme eastern Wayne County.

Note: this is where H G Yelverton is found living in both 1870 and 1880, Burden Peacock was married to Elizabeth Dickinson, sister to Penelope Dickinson and daughter of Julia Dickinson also owning land adjacent.
Penelope's foster daughter, (actual niece) Susie Hoskins, married H G Yelverton's son, this Jesse B Yelverton, in early 1866 less than three years after they became neighbors in mid 1863.

There is a 29 JUN 1873 marriage in Wayne to Gerusha Overman for Jesse Yelverton, coupled with the Jan 1871 of first wife Susie's last child, Carrie, making 1871 (possibly 1872) a probable year of death for Susie Hoskins.
