I have chosen 1852 as the best guess of her birth year, per the 1870 and 1880 census records. This means she was 10 years older than A.J. (her husband) instead of the 2 year spread shown by the 1900 census, the 1900 census indicates they were married around 1884 or 1885.
The 1880 census indicates A.J. and Julia lived in the same household with his step father and her former uncle Joshua Mitchell as head of house.
(Julia still lived with her newly widowed mom in 1870)
