G 2 Ark., Cav., in the United States Army and am pensioned under IC 346,715. I was conscripted into the Confederate Army about June or July of 1863 and was assigned to a company and regiment, but I can not remember the names of any of the officers of the company or regiment. I served about (2) two weeks and then deserted; from the time I deserted until I enlisted in the United States Army, I was in Pope, Hamstead, and Crawford Cos., Ark. The above is the only service leaves had in the Confederates Army and is the only sick leave rendered said government in any capacity either military or civil.
