Note: In 1929, the Stephens: father, William Bill along with his sons, Eddie, Cos, Troy, and Lonnie moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma and settled in Tulsa. They did whatever work they could find to do: cleaning up yards, hauling trash, cleaning up old bricks, selling, and delivered them, etc. They worked out of the Trenton Market and eventually they formed their own wholesale produce business and called it "Stephens Brothers Produce." Eddie was a great salesman and people person, he also took care of the trucks, kepping them out on the road and in working order, and hiring the drivers. Cos was the doc man, unloading and loading produce orders going out. Troy took care of the business, taking orders and dealing with the customers. Around 1971, the boys closed their "Stephens Brothers Produce" business at the Trenton Market. Eddie had built up a business of delivering produce to restaurants like Braums, Tastee Freeze, etc.
