a. Note:   Obit: Elbert Phillips (Adrian Dailey Telegram, Wed., Jan 11, 1956 Hudson, MI-Elbert Phillips, 80, of 1050 Addison Rd, Somerset Twp., died at 3 am today at Addison Community Hospital where he had been a patient since December 6. A Hillsdale county farmer, he wa born March 20, 1875, the son of Elbert and Nancy Faulkner Phillips in Dresden, TN and had lived near Addison since 1948.
 Mr Phillips is survived by his widow, Lula Kimbro Phillips; a son, Raymond, at home, and a sister, Mrs Dora Stone of St Louis, MO.
 The funeral will be held at the Charles E. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Hudson at 2 pm Saturday with the Rev. T.R. Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 pm Friday.
