  Obituary for Sarah Hamet Galloway
  Sarah Oleta Hamet Galloway, 94, of Pickens, SC, wife of the late Troy P. Galloway, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at Easley Baptist Hospital.
  Born in Transylvania County NC, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Solomon and Mae Belle McGaha Hamet. Mrs. Galloway was retired from the J.P. Stevens Slater Plant and was a member of Cannon Mountain Baptist Church.
  Surviving are three children, Troy Erwin Galloway and his wife Ida, Edna Vaughn and her husband Dr. Melvin Vaughn and Charles Alvin Galloway; a brother, Charles Hamet and his wife Mickey; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
  In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by 3 daughters, Nellie Vaughn, Dorothy Waldrop and Linda Pollitt.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Wednesday morning at Cannon Mountain Baptist Church with burial to follow in Travelers Rest at Mountain View Memorial Park.
  Memorials may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy of SC, 1101 Harbor Drive, West Columbia, SC 29169.
