Note: Estelle Hamet
GREER -- Estelle Moon Hamet, 65, wife of U.R.(Bob) Hamet, died Tuesday.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late W.C. and Mary Gosnell Moon, she was a retired textile employee, and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving also are a son. Carroll Hamet of Greer; a daughter, Nancy Corbin and Linda Vaughn of Greer: brothers, Jim Moon of Greer, Will Moon of Taylors, Fred Moon of Landrum: a sister, Annie Bess Stamey of Greenville, and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church; burial in Wood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary.
The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Thursday.
