  Nellie Galloway Vaughn, 60, of 79 Tanyard Road, died Nov. 19, 1996, at her home.
 She was a Missionary in B.I.M.I. to Brazil, a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Henderson, N.C., and attended Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Auditorium Sunday School Class.
 Surviving are her husband, Dr. James Melvin Vaughn; a daughter, Mrs. Becky V. Ray of Henderson, N.C.; three sons, Jim Vaughn of Ashburn, N.C., the Rev. Charles M. Vaughn of Brazil and Paul J. Vaughn of Henderson, N.C.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Troy P. Galloway of Pickens; three sisters, Edna G. Akers of Duncan, Dot G. Waldrop of Greenville and Linda G. Pollitt of McMinnville, Tenn; two brothers, Troy E. Galloway of Enon Valley, Pa., and C. Alvin Galloway of Pickens; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
 Services: 2 p.m. Friday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with burial in Grand View Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest.
 Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
