Dunn Funeral services for William Henry (Will) Dunn, 91, retired farmer of the Marietta section, will be held at Middle River Baptist Church at 5 p.m. Monday conducted by the Rev. Jack Lynch, the Rev. B.B. Brown and the Rev. Homer Couch. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Maxie Burns, Twitt Tankersly, George Dunn Jr., David Dunn, Roy Morris Jr., and Frank Cox. The honorary escort will include the board of deacons of the Middle River Baptist Church members of the Men's Bible Class of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and members of the Ebenezer Lodge 101 AFM. Members of the Ebenezer Lodge are asked to meet at the lodge at 4 p.m. today for the purpose of attending the service and conducting Masonic rites at the grave. The active pallbearers will meet at the home at 4:20 p.m. and the honorary escort at the church at 4:50 p.m. Mr. Dunn died at his home on the Tugalooa Road, Bates Township at 1:30 p.m. Saturday after a sudden illness. Three sons, one brother, 16 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren survive him. Until the service the body will be at the home. Published in The Greenville News on 07-11-1955
