Note: Mrs. Florence Dunn
Mrs. Florence McGaha Dunn died suddenly yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the family home on Route 1, Marietta. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Dunn was a daughter of the late Jesse and Nancy Fowler McGaha and was native of North Carolina where she lived for a number of years. She had been a resident of Greenville County for 35 years.
She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, W.H. Dunn; four sons, G.E. Dunn, Union Bleachery; F.M. Dunn, F.H. Dunn and W.A. Dunn, all of Marietta, and 14 grandchildren.
She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ella Wilson and Mrs. Mattie Wilson, Brevard, N.C.; Mrs. Andy Hammett, Tigerville, and one brother, Ellis McGaha, of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held from Middle River Baptist Church this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Homer Couch will officiate and will be assisted by the Rev. J.E. McJunkin. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be C.B. Moore, Wallace Carter, Tom McCombs, H.L. Reynolds, Edgar Epps and Earl Poole.
Until the hour of the service the body will be at the family home.
