 Mrs. Mary H. McGaha Died in Greenville December 1936 Greenville, S.C.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hogsed McGaha of 32 Haynesworth Street, Managhan Mill who died Friday night at a local hospital were held from the Monaghan Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. The Rev. S. W. Jolly, her pastor assisted by the Rev. C. E. Piephoff, officiated. Interment was made in Carr's Hill Church cemetery near Brevard.
  The following persons served as pallbearers: Leonard Smith, Goodlet Springfield, J.C. Gambrell, S. E. Monsteller, Jack Pearson and Bill Belcher.Mrs. McGaha had been a resident of Greenville for 18 years, most of which time was spent in the Monaghan community. She was formerly of Brevard, N.C., her native home and was a daughter of the late (Walker) and Kate Raxter Hogsed. She was a member of the Monaghan Baptist Church.Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Claud Drummond, three sons, T. M. and W. L. McGaha of Monaghan Mill and J. E. McGaha of Brevard and several grandchildren. One brother Charlie Hogsed of Brevard and a half brother Otis Heath of Tigerville also survives.
