Notes
a. Note:   l estate value ($900 in 1860 currency), personal estate value ($2500 in 1860 currency), occupation of farmer given in that document used to calculate birth date.
1860 Agricultural Census Putnam County has:
"A. Pinner, 20, -, 200, 25, 820" (20 acres improved land, no unimproved land, $200 cash value for land, $25 value of machinery, $820 value of livestock)
Also, name spelled as "PENNER" in 1860 census may have thrown people off the trail.
  below two items from: http://www.co.putnam.fl.us/Palatka/Cemeteries/PINNER/PINNER.htm
  ***ARTHUR PINNER (PENNER) GRAVE SITE***
Lies on Parcel #31-11-25-0000-0010-0000, and is owned by the United States of America. There is a ground monument is a 4 x 4 concrete post with name Arthur Penner on a metal plate. Metal plate on tree next to ground monument reads “Arthur Pinner C.S.A.”. Note the difference in the spelling of the last name. Take NF 77 off SR 19, just south of the Ocklawaha River Bridge. Go west to NF 88. Continue 1.25 miles on NE 77 to monument and tree on the south side of road (about 20 feet off road). It may also be confused with the ILLINGWORTH or PENNER POND CEMETERY, which is nearby. LAKE DELANCY QUAD. N 29o 29.537 W 81o 49.833. (Abandoned).
Hartman’s BIOGRAPHICAL ROSTERS OF FLORIDA’S CONFEDERATE AND UNION SOLDIERS 1861-1865, vol. III, c1995, page 951, lists the following information: “Pinner, Arthur (b. 1818) enlisted 8/21/63 at Station #4, FRR and was detached to make shoes for his neighborhood in late 1863.”
***ILLINGWORTH CEMETERY or PINNER POND CEMETERY***
Is 210 feet x 210 feet. Parcel #31-11-25-0000-0380-0000, Deed Book 25 P 397. Take HWY 19 south. Cross the Ocklawaha River. Take National Forest Road #77 to right, about 5.5 miles to the cemetery on right. This is an old Ocklawaha River Settlement cemetery dating back to the Civil War era. It may also be confused or connected in some way with the Arthur Pinner grave site which lies nearby.
Within the last 25 years there has been established an Indian Reservation (non- governmental) at Orange Springs and this tribe (Yammasee <sic> Seminoles) have been using this cemetery to bury their dead. LAKE DELANCY QUAD. N 29o 29.239 W 81o 49.542. (Maintained).

LDS Records search shows 1850 US Census (2 Aug 1850, South Carolina) with A. Pinner (age 28), farmer, with wife E. Pinner (age 28) and son A. Pinner (age 1). The only way this can be true is if this is Arthur Pinner married to "E." (instead of Spicey Jane Smith!) with son Arthur A. Pinner. My date of 1825 for birth of Arthur is close enough to census form of 1822 to be legit. That would put Arthur A.'s birth at 1849, not 1843?
Note:   Listed in the Putnam County, Florida 1860 Census, age, birth state, rea
