Note: inner) and James W. Pinner were both veterans of the Civil War and faught for the Confederates. There is documentation showing one James Waters Pinner enlisting in the Florida 2nd Cavalry, Company A, Milton's Dragoons. He is listed as having joined in April of 1862 and mustered out on 20 May 1865. James Pinner is listed under Company B which matches his pension records found online. Discharged from CSA when his unit surrendered at Waldo, Florida at the end of the war. Member of Adjutant Camp Finley 1117 of the United Confederate Veterans.
