 VAUGHAN" and "Nila DAVIS" are written in the VAUGHAN family Bible that came from Andrew Allan VAUGHAN. Nila is the shortened form of Manila.
  7. A man named Wilson DAVIS lives with the ALLEN family as a servant, in the
 1880 census. The record states that he is divorced. He was 60 years old,
 born c. 1820 in TN, and cannot read or write. Record also says that he is acting as a farm laborer for the ALLEN family. His age would probably make him born about 1820. Given this, it is possible that he is Senith VAUGHAN (DAVIS) father.
