a. Note:   Was cook at the house of a Mrs Tipping [?] when her future husband came to hang the bells. [There are Tippings at Brasted Park, Westerham, in 1881 census. There are Levetts there also; Thomas 55 AgLab b.Brasted: no known relation.] Shown 1881 census. Very fondly remembered by her grandaughter Sylvia ['Grandmother with a slippery knee' was a verse I learned at school she explained by reference to SRL's 'slippery' dress.] Apparently grew a
 third set of teeth well on in life; nonetheless these too must have gone, because apparently she could make a brazil nut last all morning. Letter from father [just?] prior to her marriage is dated 14.11.1875
