Notes
a. Note:   Suspect there may have been some disagreement between Thomas Trickey and his children; both Charles and James leave the area, and his will leaves them all only 2/6 each. ++ Difficult to disentangle the following . See notes for Thomas. {Also notes for other Thomas, prob an error from Paul Harding.}
  Hi Roger
so good too here from you again.
This year hasn't been that good for us either. Never mind
 next year should be tops.
I haven't heard from any of your side in Melb. I have been doing some work on your side and came across a
Mary Trickey (born about 1800) marrying in EAst Budleigh -17
 Jan 1833 MR William STADDON.
On the 1851 census and 1881 census she appears. she gives
her birthplace on both occasions as Culmstock.
On the 1881 census she has her widowed nephew Thomas Trickey
born 1824 (son of Thomas Trickey & Martha Walters) living
 with her.
THAT COULD MEAN YOUR THOMAS WAS ALSO BORN IN CULMSTOCK??
are you able to search the old Somerset house wills to see
 if a Mary Staddon
dying after census day 1881 left anything to her Trickey
 relatives.??
I cannot do any research for about a fortnight, as this
weekend we are going with Joseph's footy team to the beach
to camp. and next week we have coping with retirement
seminars (we are not coping) and estate planning talks.
hope to hear from you again.
ALSO: Samuel Harding showed a Thomas Trickey b.1828. I am sure this is in error.
  ALSO:
1851 Devon Census: Barnabus Butter Senior of Sidmouth named as Thomas Trickey's executor in 1837 [&1844] and TT's daughter is <Sarah Butter
 Trickey>
Could this Sarah below have been the Sarah Trickey b. Culmstock 1791 dau of John & Mary; cd she be our TT's sister?
TT does call his second chid John, b.1822.
But then, why Sarah rather than Mary, and why call her after her aunt's married name anyway?
