Obituary: Murray Stephen Van Brunt died Saturday, Jan. 29 200, at his ho
me in San Ramon. He was 59. Born July 25, 1940, in Orange, NJ, Mr. Van B
runt lived in San Ramon for 26 years. He graduated from Waynesburg Colle
ge in Pennsylvania with a degree in accounting. He was an accountant f
or 38 years. Mr Van Brunt was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Chur
ch in Dublin. He was an elder for the church and a member of the church c
hoir. He was the former treasurer for the Presbyterian Church in San Fran
cisco. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Allean Van Brunt; daughte
rs Karen Leader of Danville, Cheryl Van Brunt of San Ramon; son Robert V
an Brunt of San Ramon; brother Edwin Van Brunt Jr. of Phoenix and one gran
dchild. A service will be held at 11am Saturday at John Knox Presbyteri
an Church in Dublin.
