Note: e Spear, 56, of Modesto died of natural causes Tuesday at his home. Mr. Spear was a native of Seattle. He lived in Modesto 17 years. He was a mechanic for 35 years and had worked for Montgomery Ward. He enjoyed working on computers. He is survived by his mother, Viola Spear of Modesto; and brothers, Harold R. Spear of Union City and Steven W. Spear of Pinole. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace B. Spear. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel.
