Note: Richard (Lillie called him Wallace) was a migrant worker by occupation after being an iron worker (possibly tool boxes). He loved working in his garden and he loved to play dominoes and blow-it (a dice game). He died at age 83. On Richard's Birth certificate is states that Jake Graves age 51 is his father, occupation farmer and Annie Harper age 18 is his mother. The certificate was signed by George Harper (Annie's brother) who lived in Broken Arrow, OK dated on 4-30-1942.
Aunt Neoma told me that they lived in Red Fork? in Tulsa somewhere between 1934-1939. Richard worked as a sheet metal worker and he worked for Jim Harper, his uncle. He worked for him until Uncle Jim died and then the business was divided in half between Richard and Jim's wife. She was a bossy woman and she and Richard did not get along, so he sold his half to Jim's wife for $100 and moved his family to Arizona. Richard also worked at one point for Lillie's Uncle Frank Harmon (Margaret's brother). He worked as an electrcian, climbing up the poles. They lived on Frank's property renting a house from him. She told me that they had once lived in West Tulsa (Gotchers?) basement - Elsie and her husband lived next door and Elmar lived down the road, and Margaret (Ella) lived on the other side of them.
Helen was the visitor in Ok when Grandpa was sick at Aunt Ella's - and all his kids were there. She (Helen) and her husband and granddaughter came. Aunt Ella and Aunt Neoma tell me that Grandpa was Irish, Cherokee, and French. Grandma had always told me that he was half French and half Dutch.
