Nixon, Applicant - - - Application for Pension Due to a Deceased Pensioner Under the Act of Aug. 15, 1904, to be paid to the Ordinary for Funeral Expenses and Expenses of Last Illness Georgia, Carroll County Personally before me, the Ordinary of said County, comes W. G. Nixon of said County, who, after being sworn on oath says that he knew E. E. Nixon of said County, and that he was on the "Indigent" Pension Roll Carroll County at the time of his death, which occurred in Carroll County, in this State, on the 22nd day of January 1917 and that a Pension of Seventy Dollarwas was due him and unpaid at the time of his death. That he left no widow or dependent children surviving him, and no estate of any value sufficient to pay his funeral expenses, which amounted to the sum of $69.00 Dollars, as per sworn statement, itemized, hereto attached. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 18th day of April 1917. Carroll County, W. G. Nixon, his mark Georgia, Carroll County I, W. J. Millican, Ordinary of said County, do certify that I personally know W. G. Nixon, who is a resident citizen of said County, ad that he is of a truthful and trustworthy character, entitled to full faith and credit. I also knew E. E. Nixon while in life; that he was the same person whose name appears on the "indigent" Pension Roll of Carroll County, and was paid a Pension of Seventy Dollars in said County for 191__ (blank), and I now believe him to be dead.
