Note: Family Owned castle in Spain,had lots of money.Philippe followed Leonor to Brasil with circus.Leonor Maese was a trapez artist with circus.She later had an accident and was hurt. they stayed in Brasil after circus left to recouperate and stayed on in Brasil to raise family.Both were artist and loved the theatre.They had four boys and the oldest,Philippe became very successful constructor and took care of the entire family,including his brothers. Philippe Maese Romero started working as a stone mason and learned many things about construction.He read extensively and taught himself about construction profession.He was well known and respected for his work.He loved his wife and she loved him very much.They lived with a lot of family strife and fighting.Philippe developed a serious heart angina problem and later died in the arms of Vera ,his seven year old Granddaughter,who they had taken to raise.He loved Vera very much and spent a lot of time with her,often took her with him to check on his work.She would Later benefit greatly from this experience as she grew to adulthood.The memory and pride of her Grandfather would Mold her personality and self pride for life.Her grandmother Bilu was also very instrumental in this molding too.Written by Jesse lawrence 3/20/1997.
