Vermule, 78, Billings, died at 10:13 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 1991, in St. John's Regional Health Center Emergency Room, Springfield, of an apparent heart attack. He was a farmer and a retired employee of Ramey's Supermarket. He was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Josephine; a son, Jerry Vermule, Billings; a daughter, Doris Schmidt, Billings; three brothers, Herman, Billings, John, Springfield, and Jacob, Republic; and four grandchildren. Funeral Mass was Friday in St. Joseph's Church with the Msgr. John J. Rynish officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery under direction of Meadors Funeral Home.
