Note: d 7 Jan 1992 Contributed by Randal Phillips. John A. Vermule, Billings, died at 7:35 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1992 in Mercy Villa Nursing Home, Springfield. A retired farmer, he was a member of St. Joseph's Men's Club, and Knight of Columbus, Springfield Council. He is survived by two brothers, Jacob A., Verona, and Herman, Billings; and nieces and nephews. Services were Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Monsignor John J. Rynish officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery under direction of Meadors Funeral Home. The family requests contributions to the stained glass repair fund at the church.
