He was in Capt. Elisha Burton's Co., under Col. Peter Olcutt, in Aug 1780 when he marched two days and eighteen miles to Royalton, Vt.. He served three days and marched 13.4 miles under Capt. He possibly is the same Ashbel Tucker who in 1774 was from Hanover, NH and bought land in Dorchester, NH. 15 July 1774. He pitched Lot #11 on 2 Nov 1773 at Dorchester, NH. owned by David Woodward.
