His children, b in GG per C047381, were Mary Ann, 28/7/1824; d 30/1/1825 Joseph, 3/12/1825 Sophia, 2/7/1828; d 9/10/1834 Elizabeth, 27/10/1830 Mary, 16/3/1833 Margarett Sophia, 18/9/1835 These are all shown as f=Samuel m=Elizabeth. About Elizabeth, and the m date, I have been able to find nothing. Samuel and Mary, with the same children, are shown in the 1841C, which ties in nicely with the m to Mary HARRADINE in Willian, Herts on 25/12/1838 (M073121) shown in your database [why the query in Mary's name?]. Mary is shown in the 1841C as b Herts, and in the 1851C and 1861C as b GG! Her age is 6 years more than Samuel, making her b 1795 - but I cannot find her in the IGI. Samuel is a Miller. So far so good. Mary H was Samuel's second wife after Elizabeth about whom we know nothing else. Another question is why did they marry in Willian if they were both from GG, but ... 1851C, in Hitchin, Herts: Samuel COOK, a39, Carpenter, b Tempsford Bedfordshire Mary, Wife, a38 (1813), b unreadable Cambridgeshire Mary Ann, a11, b Hitchin William, a9, b Hitchin Harriet, a6, b Hitchin Emily, a2, b Hitchin William HARRADINE, Unmarried, Brother-in-Law, a40 (1811), b unreadable, Cambridgeshire Ann HARRADINE, Unmarried, Sister-in-Law, a35 (1816), b ditto Alfred HARRADINE, Nephew, a4 (1847), b Hitchin Harradine is a very uncommon name of course.
