He was bp. not b. on 23/3/1783; was 'of this place', a labourer, when he married Jane WALKER (Whipsnade parish) on 3/12/1806/1807 (illegible) in GG, witnessed by Moses PUDDIPHAT and Wm.GLADMAN. Children followed: you have the birth dates as I do - only I have Elizabeth's d.b.as 18/1/1810, and I have no record of George. Here are the baptism dates, all in GG - Sarah 29/4/1810; Elizabeth 29/4/1810 [buried,aged 9m., on 6/9/1820]; Mary 30/6/1811; Ann 21/11/1813; William 16/3/1817; Frances 4/3/1821; Thomas 10/4/1825(Gaddesden Row). In the 1841 census at home were William and Jane and William junior. Their ages were of course approximate (close enough not to think it's a different family) and William sr, was recorded as born outside Herts (Bucks/Beds?) could any of these be him?...
