  Battle Creek Daily Journal May 11, 1894
  Mrs. Jane Ribble, an old and esteemed pioneer of Pennfield died on the 10th
 inst. at the family residence in that township, of inflammation of the
 bowels, aged 76 years. She leaves three children to mourn her loss. T
 funeral will be held at the Boynton school house on Sunday at 10 a.m., the
 Rev. Mr. Tuttle of Bellvue, officiating. The burial will take place at the
 Hicks Cemetery.
