a. Note:   Harmon may have some type of connection with the Price families of Lincoln County, Tennessee and families from the old 96th district of South Carolina. Specifically the areas of Greenville & Spartanburg Counties.
  Harmon was on the 1840 census of Marion County, Alabama. He was listed between 50-60, one female, (his wife) was between 40-50, one male between 20-30, one male between 15-20, one female between 10-15, and one male 5 or below.
  He was listed as Harmon Prier on the 1850 census of Marion County, Alabama. His son John was on the previous page and John's wife Mary A. Price and children were on the same page as Harmon. They may have had some type of connection with Aaron Woods or Wood. He was born about 1805 in South Carolina and he was listed on the same page.
  Harmon Price purchased land in Fayette County, Alabama on 1 June 1858 in Range 12-W, TS-16S, Section 14. Lewis P. Price purchased land in the same Range & Township but in section 13. This land was to the northwest of Harmon's and touched his lands upper righthand corner. Also in the land records a John Rice purchased land in the same Range, Township, and section as Lewis P. Price and was next to his land. This may have been John Price instead of John Rice.
