Notes
a. Note:   maybe born in north carolina. Simon Adamson Jr. and his family had land in Know county, Tennessee inthe early 1800's. They went to the Lost Creek quaker church inFefferson county at New market, tennessee. Other Adamson's lived inthis area. When you realize that the land west of the AlleganyMountain was reserved for the Indians by the Proclamation of 1763, itis seen that the Adamson families being in eastern Tennessee in thelate 1700's made them very early settlers.
The list of descendents was not made up by "guessing", merely to fitin all the Adamsons we have heard of. It was made up based upon
 1. Simon Adamson's will
 2. A tennessee Deed of coveyance dated 1839
 3. Census Records
 4. Marriage records
 5. Deth Records 1903 to present
 6. Deed and probate records
 7. Bible records
 8. Tombstone inscriptions
 9. biographical sketches and other material in books
 10. Personal knowledge of various ones
Simon Adamson is thought to be buired at Rocky Valley Cemetery,Jefferson county, Tennessee. We do not know where Eleanor Adamson isburied, but feel that it is in Collin county, Texas. the 1860 Collincounty census show "Ellender" Adamson age 91, in Tennessee, NancyWilson age 21 born in Tennessee, John Wilson, age 28 born in Northcarolina, and Harrison Mills, age 19, born in Tennessee. Jacob Wilsonwas Eleanor's Grandson (#2-12 on our list) Youngest son of Israel andMartha Wilson. We do not find any records showing John as a brother ofJacob. Nancy Wilson was Jacob's wife, and Harrison Mills was Nancy'sBrother. Harrison died in Confederate service during the Civil war.
One source of information shows that Eleanor died at Weston Texas in1863 at age 93, .
On the plat of the Chambersville cemetery in Collin county which wasdrawn in 1955 byn the son of the man who kept the cemetary records, there are around a dozen unmarked graves shown in the vicinity of theAdamsons and the Wilson's . Some are immediateyly in front of Larkin(1806) and Nancy Adamson and esther Adamson Wilson, and some areimediately in back of them. I think these contain adamson familymembers whose graves we have not been able to locate possibleyincluding Eleanor.

b. Note:   Tennesee
Note:   Thought to be buried at Rocky Valley Cemetery, Jefferson country
