a. Note:   Kept a shop in East St Middlesbrough and also cafe/fish & chip shop at number 1 The Market Square Middlesbrough (it is believed that this property had once belonged to a doctor. She Also in the 1920's kept a lodging house a few doors away from the cafe. Shown in 1881 census as residing with grandfather Ralph Ingledew at 94 Stockton St Middlesbrough , this is believed to be an error by the enumerator as the entry above the Ingledew family is for the Stockdale family and her occupation was " in Pottery Worker". A brief history of the Middlesbrough Pottery is kept in the Cleveland County archives and Margaret is listed (the names of workers were extracted from the census of the time. Shown in 1896/97 trade directory as trading as fried fish dealer 61 Marsh Rd Middlesbrough (the business was in Roberts name) In the 1910/11 directory they are at 16 East Street as clothes dealers Isabella Watson nee Finley, worked for Granny Watts and on occasion looked after some of the Grandchildren of the family who included Annie and Margaret Cunningham, she could remember brushing Margaret's long black hair, she told this tale to Keith Foreman when he was courting her daughter Margaret Watson when family recollections were being discussed.
