Notes
a. Note:   Tombstone Inscription says he was born in 1889. His death certificate and the 1920 Census indicate he was born in 1890. The stone was erected at least 15 years after his death. Found in his father's bible was a list of the Kretzer children and their birthdates. These are going to be treated as the best source. Directions to Kretzer Cemetary----From the Junction of SH5 and US60, south of Ashland, go west on US 60 12 1/2 miles. You go past I-64 towards Grayson. Turn left on SH1 and go 5.7 miles to Huff Run Rd. Turn Right. 3/4 of a mile you come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork. Go 9/10th mile. The mailboxes indicate that your about 840 on whatever road (Fields Brush Rd?) this is. One one side of this road, at the 9/10ths mark is a ranch style house. It has a covered porch and patio/BBQ area. On the right side of the road is a dirt road. That road leads up to the cemetary. The cemetary is on the uphill path.
