Children: Jean, b. Middleburg, 1645, David, b. Mannheim, 1652 and Samuel, b. Mannheim, 1656. David was born in 1620 in Beauchamps, France. He migrated to NY in 1665, sailing on the Bontek (Cow), arriving in New Amsterdam, NY, passage money $39.00. In 1665 the family moved to New Holland, NY. In 1667 the Tappan Indians sold land on the Hackensack River, NJ to David Demarest; in 1678 he settled in Hackensack, NJ with his family. In 1698 he died. Also reportedly Kevin K.
