Note: Perhaps his middle name was "Colville." Ora C. was a printer in St. Paul and owner of the local newspaper in the 1890s; he played on the St. Paul baseball team with George Hess, brother of Anna Hess Pearce. He may have been in the painting/wallpaper business as well. Ora may have been named for Dr. Orla Frank Howard, as many males were then, perhaps including Orla Estil Pearce, the son of Herman Avery Pearce and Anna Hess. There is also a question as to whether Ora's daughters were Clara, Nellie and Fannie Pearce.
