a. Note:   ords of Middlesex (later Sussex) Co., NJ, also found near Benton, NY area in early 1800s. Many from Sussex Co., NJ, Orange Co., NY (Minisink region) migrated to the Lakes in early 1800s.
  Another history is that the Sutton family were Quakers from MA, not welcome by Puritans, and migrated to Piscataway, Middlesex Co., NJ. A branch repportedly migrated to Sussex Co., NJ in the 1750s; being Baptists.
  Married 2. Mr. Drake (also an Anglicized version of a Dutch name (Dratz, Derck, or Dirk and other variations). These were Dutch who migrated to England during the Norman Invasion of 1055 (note Sir Walter Drake family).
