Note: Gilbert remarried after Lucetta died. Gilbert home is unknown before moving to Lamar, Missouri. His original place of burial was in the "Poor Farm Cemetery", about four years after his death his children moved him to Oakton Missouri Cemetery. His death came practically, without warning. He had been around as usual and was at the supper table, when made the remarked to his wife that he felt cold chills, running over him. Before she could reach him, he dropped to the floor from his chair, and when she got to him to pick him up he was dead. Heart Disease was The cause of death. He was a member of the Christain Church of Lamar Missouri and for the years past he had been a janitor of the church. His record was a faithful one, and in all the years, he probably missed over a half dozen service.
