This brother of my 2nd g-grandfather John, didn't stay in the 3-mile Bay area (Buffalo/Erie) but shortly after his marriage moved to the Wisconsin/Illinois border - namely to the town of Shullsburg, WI. Apparently, he ran into a man named Thomas Doyle who knew of a PRIEST who led a shipboard expedition from the area, around the US, and up the Mississippi to this god-forsaken place. Anyway, his daughter Mary Ann Barron married this guys' son (also Thomas Doyle) and settled down to have 13 children. The rest of the Barron's musta been bored, and they all moved back to the Tonowanda, NY area before 1880. There, one of Jame's sons -- Lawrence J "Larry" Barron -- ran a combination hotel and saloon named "The Center Bridge House".
