I believe but have no proof that Rosina and Josephine were twins. I am not sure if they were twins of each other. It is stated in the Biographical Record of Huron and Lorain Counties, there were ten children born to Lawrence and Josephine Remele. But only six children lived to maturity. The closest I can get to a birth date for Rosina is ca 7 Mar 1821 from calculation age from date of death on tombstone. For Josephine, her calcualtion of birthis more wide age 40 when she died on 4 July 1860. This is secondary sources for both of these dates. The reason I think they were both twins is the frequency and number of twins that continue in both of the families of these women down to today. Hardly a generation is missed without a set of twins in some descendant or another. That did not happen in the other children of Lawrence and Josephine. Ruth Reed
