a. Note:   PLAN SERVICE FOR AMBROSE C. VEDDER Funeral services for Ambrose C. Vedder, of Weston, will be held Fridayafternoon at two o'clock at the Loomis Funeral Home in Weston with Rev.George Beaschler officiating. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery . Ambrose C. Vedder died Monday evening at the Flower Hospital in Toledoafter a brief illness with the flu. He was born in Utica , N. Y., onSept. 12, 1869 and came to this county as a young man. Being a natural salesman, he gained considerable success after he setup a General Store here and operated it for 35 years. He was a salesmanout of Columbus for eight years and out of Toledo for six years in addition. He was a member of the Methodist Church here. A fine character and arecognized leader, he was highly esteemed by all who knew him. His wife, Lula M., and four children; Fredrick of Detroit, Munn C; of Muncie , Ind. , Mrs. Harriet Nye of Weston and Mrs. Dorothy Messmoreof Toledo , four grandchildren, a brother Fred of Chicago and twosisters, Mrs. Eleanor Gard of Toledo and Mrs.Bessie Waber of Lansing ,Mich. , survive him. St. Augustine Rifles Company G, 1st. Infantry, Florida State Troops Vedder, Ambrose C. Private 1894 CHRISTENING: Hattie, Ambrose, Eleanor and James Frederick Vedder were allbaptised on the same day in Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Augustine FL.They were baptised by Rev. Eleazor Roote and their godparents were Willieand Hattie Pinkham.
