DEATH: He is survived by two sons, Emil and George Siegel; one daughter,Mrs. Albert Scherer, all of this city; 10 grandchildren; two sisters,Mrs. Frank Bankert, of this city and Mrs. William Klein, Huron, and otherrelatives and many friends. DEATH: Mr. Siegel for many years operated a blacksmith shop at Bogart. Anumber of years ago he moved to Sandusky, where he has since resided andbeen employed. He was a member of Protection Tent, No. 7, Maccabbees. DEATH: Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock atthe residence, the Rev. C. J. Scherzer officiating. Burial will be madein Oakland Cemetery. DEATH: Sandusky Register, 28 Jan 1927, p. 2, c1 BIOGRAPHY: Siegel, Ferdinand, Perkins, Bogart p.o., a general blacksmithof Perkins township, was born in Baden, Germany, in 1849, and was a sonof Frederick Siegel. Ferdinand Siegel came to America in 1867, andsettled in Sandusky, where he became engaged in the smithing business asa journeyman. That same year he came to Bogart, where he purchased hisshop and tools and established his present business. He was married in1875 to Amelia Boos, of Huron Township.
