Notes
a. Note:   Although he did not attend church on a regular basis, as his son I would consider my father a kind and generous man. I never heard him use course or vulgar language nor the Lord's name in vain. My father, Michael, kept the financial records for the W. M. Kelly Transfer and Storage Company in Waco, Texas. When he was younger, Michael worked on a ranch in what was then known as the New Mexico Territory. At home in Waco he enjoyed the outdoors, kept a big garden, and an orchard. He married Bonnie Jean Hadley in 1929. The Kelly and Hadley family both lived on Robinson Road in Robinson, Texas. Michael's father Timothy was a retired rail road construction foreman and enjoyed building things. He built the Hadley family a swing. My father, Michael died of cancer in Waco, Texas in 1947. He is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas with his parents Timothy and Martha Kelly.. By: Michael Jean Kelly, son of Michael,2005. Sources: Marriage License, Mcclennan County Texas, June 22,1929 Census of the United States, City of Taylor, Williamson, Texas, June 11, 1900, sheet # 19.
