a. Note:   Daniel Warner was a farmer. He came to Loisiana with his family in 1802. He was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. His converstion is noted in the book, Mississippi Methodism, by Rev. John G. Jones "During a Camp Meeting Revival at Bickham's Camp Ground on Hay's Creek a tributary of Bogue Chitto in Louisiana, was converted to the Christian faith and remained firm in his faith until his death."---Mississippi Methodism, page 360, by Rev. John G Jones. Daniel was widowed sometime after 1840 when Matilda Warner was born to Daniel and his wife Matilda Bickham. His second wife was a widow, Stacy Ann Slocom who had three children.
