a. Note:   Helen M. Morimitsu Helen M. Morimitsu, 84, of Fort Collins, died Feb. 14, 2008. Helen May Davis was born June 8, 1923, in Fort Collins, to Hershel and Nettie Davis. She grew up here and graduated from Fort Collins High School. On July 13, 1946, Helen married Sueo "Sam" Morimitsu in Denver. She worked as a receptionist for a Fort Collins attorney and later worked at CSU. She held various administrative jobs and retired in 1988 from the admissions office. She retired right about the time when the computer came on the scene. Helen's husband, Sam, and only sister, Alice Conner, both died within the past year. Her son, Hershel Morimitsu, and brother, Jack Davis, also preceded Helen in death. She is survived by two grandsons, Chris (and his wife, Michelle) Morimitsu of Fort Collins, and Nathan Morimitsu of Fort Collins; four great-grandchildren, Lacey, Laurelle, Aaron and Ryan; a step-grandson, A. J. Hyatt; and her daughter-in-law, JoAnn Hyatt Weeks. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Timberline Church in the East Auditorium, 2908 Timberline Road, Fort Collins. Interment will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at Roselawn Cemetery. Helen's family requests that memorial donations please be made, in lieu of flowers, to Timberline Church or The Food Bank for Larimer County in care of Goes Funeral Care, 3665 Canal Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
