Will Book 6 - page 319 In the name of God Amen I John Walters senr of Montgomery County Virginia being weak in body but of sound mind and memory knowing it is appointed to all men once to die do make ordain and declare this to be my last will and testament and do hereby disannull and make void all former will which may have been made or signed me heretofore Viz in the first place I assign my soul to God who gave it next my body to the earth to be buried in Christian like manner, at the discretion of my friends nothing doubting but I shall receive the same at the great and eternal reserrection. As touching my worldly effects with whitch it has pleased God to bless me I dispose of in the form and manner following Viz. First that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid, next all my outstanding debts be collected I futher bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Walters the sole use and entire possession of all my landed property of which I may die possesed with its building and appertenances thereto attached during her natural lifetime together with the use of all my household and kitchen furniture farming utensils grain meat ____ __ on hand also one cow and calf and eight head of hogs also sixty dollars in cash I have now by me and which I desire my Executor to pay to her immediately on his entering on his administration of my estate and all the use right and benefit of the property to be hers as above written. And my futher will is that all other property I may possessd of sold and the proceeds thereof together with the amount of my other money and out standing debts after collected and after all just claims & charges against my estate be fully discharged be equally divided amongst my loving Children and the legal representatives of those who may be dead. Also after the death of my wife that the whole of my property personal and real be sold and equally divided as above. Lastly I appoint my beloved son John Walters the Executor of this my last will and testament.
