  She separated from her husband in 1926 but had to live with him again when they both went to live with their daughter in their old age (while Evonne was in primary school).
  Mary had an illegitimate daughter in Cornwall England by an American soldier in 1906, who was supposed to send for her but never did. She left her daughter Murial Gladys to be brought up by her sisters Bessie and May when she came to Australia. Glady's surname is also listed on Mary's husband's war record as having the surname Williams.(She later married a Kerrins).
Note:   Mary died of a stroke. She was a dressmaker by profession and when living in Sydney, had her own shop and home in Narrabeen. She was also very active in Liberal Catholic Church (St Albans in the city)
