a. Note:   e was a stonemason and also owned a business with Henry Wade around 1859. Moses was prominent in politics in the Frostburg area. In 1839 he was Deputy Sheriff. In 1840 he was elected 1st Lieutenant in the Frostburg Grays. He was widowed at the age of 23, but raised two daughters, one of whom married C.H. Walker, long-time Post Master in Frostburg.
Note:   Moses Wade, born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and came to Frostburg as a child. H
