Note:   Obituary, Dorchester, Westmorland, New Brunswick, April 6, 1918 Word has just reached Dorchester that Edward M Chambers, at one time a resident of the Shiretown, but in recent years a resident of Memramcook, died at eleven o'clock this morning, at the very unusual age of ninty-three years. Death was due to old age. Mr. Chambers is survived by five children: Lorenzo H. Deputy Warden of Dorchester Prison, Herbert of Vancouver City, BC, Mrs. John W. Smith of Memramcook, Mrs. George N. Bishop , Dorchester and Mrs. Fred Forrest and Mrs. Emma Hemion of Boston, Mass. The deceased was for many years a member of the Baptist Church. He was the oldest living Oddfellow in the Maritime Provinces. Burial will take place on Monday. Funeral service will be conducted at the residence of the daughter with whom he lived. in recent years.
