Cause of Death: General Injuries 22 days. Registered by J. Muir brother in law of Ferniegair by Hamilton. Anthony probably had a pit accident. Only record of an Anthony Dixon married to martha/margaret Laing is for 1874 in Morpeth which means he was either a widower or his wife refused to come North with him/deserted him. Cause of death: Injuries received on 5th July 1905 at Orbiston Colliery, Bellshill, by a sudden fall of head coal upon him, as per verdict of jury. Procurator Fiscals Office 29th July 1905. Certified September 5th 1905 Glasgow. There is also a date of March 21st 1906 stamped on the record for some reason
