a. Note:   Phillip Strieter, 18, is listed with his parents Phillip and Catherine Strieter on the 1850 census of New Berlin, Waukesha Co., WI.
 The 1860 Milwaukee census has Phillip listed under STREITER, Philipp, 28, with Margaretha, 25, Christine, 4, and Jacob, 9/12. His father is listed as Phillip Strater, 54, with Catherine, 52, and Christiana, 19, all born in Prussia are in the 1860 WI, Waukesha, New Berlin census.
 Phillip, a farmer, & Margaret are listed on the 1870 OH, Knox Co., Jeddo twp. census. STREET is the spelling of the name, however it is located under STRUT. It indicates they own real estate worth $3400. They have a daughter Christiana, 13, born in WI that is listed as omitted from line 9 of the family. Catherina, David, Elizabeth & Rosa are also listed born in MN.
 The WI 1880 Census lists Phillip, 48 & Elizabeth, 47. His occupation is a retired farmer. His last name is spelled Strieder. David and Lizzie were born in Minnesota, I think possibly, in Winona. Lizzie's wedding certificate lists her birth place as Winona, MN. Anna was born in Knox Co., MO and then Caroline was born in Milwaukee, WI. Rosa isn't listed in the census, however, her marriage certificate lists her birth place as Missouri. Christiana is not listed and may be married?
  Waukesha's Link to the Past lists a Phillip STRIEDER, resident of New Berlin, born in Rhein-Bollen Pfalz (Palatine) Bavaria married to WACHTER, Maria Margareth. A child Christina, born 16 Sept. 1856, baptized 28 Sept. 1856 with sponsors Wachter, Substitute Phil Immich & Christina Strieder by J.D. Huber (source: Old German Reformed Church New Berlin, WI)
